Very amazing staff super nice and friendly! They have very healthy fish love the store setup and have a variety of fish to choose from. Very knowledgeable when it comes to fish. Would recommend going to them for your fish needs.

Great place for your fish needs. During our visit sadly not enough fish due to the pandemic but their displays are amazing and corals look great. Fresh water and salt water fish both have a great home here.

Great selection of beautiful fish. The knowledge the young gentlemen had about how to keep the fish was super helpful. Not only do they have tank breed but wild caught fish! Love this place

Super awesome fish store. Had a great experience when I first went there and will definitely be back again . Their customer services and knowledge were incredible, very well kept and very clean store. A great selection on food, plants, wood, coral etc. let’s not forget mesmerizing tanks full of beautiful fish . Highly recommend to go here so a great experience. Keep up the good work guys !

Do better! As former staff and previous customer from the surface it seems nice but just wait. The owner is a scumbag and has managed to cover up the truth by having staff ask everyone that comes in for a 5 star review. Not to mention the sky high prices. Many other stores in the area that have really put this store into its place. Terrible!

I decided to venture out from my usual fish shop. This is is a really cool store. I ended up with 2 honey guarami (which I've been looking for) and a snail for my newest set up. The employees who helped me (I didn't catch their names) were super helpful and patient with me, as I am quite indecisive when it comes to my tank. I will be back for sure!

We had a great experience at The Fish Reef! Calvin was extremely helpful in getting us set up for our new fish tank. He was knowledgeable and even had an a great area for us to dry scape and get ideas for our tank. Everyone was friendly and helpful - would definitely recommend!

The kids wanted a new tank for Christmas. These guys were awesome and went out of their way to help and ensure that we had all we needed to be successful with this new endeavor.Very clean store, well maintained tanks, and friendly staff!

These guys just did a tank move for me. 125 gallon reef tank with coral and fish. Did a great job. Very happy with their service and will use them again. Their retail store is awesome as well.

Stopped in after driving by several times. Very cool setup, clean, and staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered to order the fish I was looking for. Ultimately went with some cichlids they had in shop, they are a great addition to my tank. Thanks for the great experience.

After taking a few years off from keeping a salt-water tank, finding The Fish Reef store was a true game changer. Never before have I felt fully supported by such knowledgeable staff! I am beyond happy with my new 65 gallon set-up and know that I now have store I can trust which is hard to find. Check out Calvin and Steven if you want knowledge, fun and wonderful fish!

Today my wife and I visited The Fish Reef for the first time. We both remarked on how clean the store was right off the bat. We were soon greeted by Calvin (Store Manager) who was very helpful, and knowledgeable as well. We ended up buying a peacock bass. We are very happy with our purchase. The store has a large variety of fish, both freshwater and saltwater. We highly suggest checking this place out if you are looking for fish. Ask for Calvin, he was very helpful and nice also.

Just picked up some tetras and Molly fish from here. Amazing experience. We’ve visited 2 days in a row and have gotten some great information from all of the staff here. We are brand new fish parents and they really helped us get the footing and basics of what we need. They have a great selection of fish. We also picked up rocks, drift wood and live plants. The variety is awesome.

Highly recommend The Fish Reef! The employees I have worked with have all been super helpful, especially Calvin. He has been my go to person, answers all my questions, and has helped me get my dream saltwater angelfish. Definitely recommend this store!

I just went here for the first time and I was very impressed at how clean the store and tanks are and how healthy the fish look. They really know what they are doing. Good selection of fish and they are able to order the red cap orandas that I want. I will be back soon.

I have been to the Fish Reef numerous times and each time have had a great experience. The staff is fantastic. Calvin has helped me the most and is an absolute expert in what he does. It's nice to see young people taking so much pride in their work. it's the only place I go now and will be as I build a new salt water tank soon!

Have you ever bought a fish that you knew would die? I don’t know why, but as soon as I put the fish in the tank, I had a gut feeling it was going to die. I monitored the fish for awhile, I noticed that it was not moving very much. I tried feeding the fish to see if it would respond to food, but nope. I told my spouse, I think this fish is going to die and sure enough, I wake up the next morning and found the fish dead! The other fish started “working” on him aka eating him before I got to him. I’ve bought fish from them before and never had an issue, but it sucks this fish didn’t even last 12 hours and cost me $34…. I didn’t want to argue about water because I regularly test mine. I have 50 fish that are all alive and thriving. I hope I have better luck time…

Fantastic store, fair prices, and helpful/knowledgeable staff. The in-store displays make the experience great, and the stock is always diverse and interesting. Would definitely recommend going here for your aquarium needs.

The store manager, Calvin, was amazing!! Gave us a bunch of great tips and very knowledgeable. All around great store with some friendly staff. Really clean tanks, coral, and fish. Willing to help with whatever we needed! We will definitely be using the fish reef as our main store for all of our fish needs. I would definitely recommend swinging by! If they don't have it they will get it ordered for you.

Just got done setting up everything I got today, and put in my two little new sucker fish. It was my first time in the store, and Calvin who helped me was amazing. I told him I was new to the fish tank world and only had a 10gal tank with 4 goldfish, but he still took the time to answer all my questions and walk me around the store showing me the products that would suit me and my situation the best. He even didn’t seem to mind going into detail, or defining any new terms to me when I asked. This is def my new local fish store go-to.

This is a great aquarium/fish store. Neat, clean, beautiful layout and well done aquariums with healthy fish and plants. We stopped here to buy materials to start our fish tank and our experience was great. The store manager acknowledged us letting us know we'd be helped soon instead of ignoring us because they were busy. Once we were being helped, he was knowledgeable and helpful with what we needed based on what kind of tank we wanted. He even carried our box to the car. Great products, knowledge and service. I highly recommend!

New hours are kinda brutal, but I appreciate the owner's commitment to quality in all aspects of the business and am hopeful this will be the right direction for the store! Seriously this is the best place to go in order to get advice or new fish. Everyone is super knowledgeable and the store is always so clean.

New hours closed Monday-Thursday? Those are my only days off and I live a decent distance from the store. I guess I can’t shop here anymore which sucks because this was where I got everything I own in the hobby including the tank and lights. I know fish stores have strange hours but that’s a bold move cotton. The fish are generally healthy and the staff are really nice. Coral selection has been lacking for a few months.

I came in on a friday afternoon. I was awed. This place is amazing on the inside. A person named Lucas helped me make some informed decisions about how to best start care for a fish and gave me some great things to consider. All the fish looked happy and healthy. If you were considering going to your local, big name pet store: go here instead for a custom experience and all the help you need! They also do maintenance, so it's an actual one stop shop! Thanks Lucas! Will be back again.

I love The Fish Reef! They have a great selection of fresh and saltwater fish and the store itself is very modern and classy! Everyone is very knowledgeable and super nice. The fish are healthy and happy. I highly suggest this LFS for anyone looking for fish or aquarium supplies. You won’t be disappointed.

Had a great experience at The Fish Reef. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable and great with kids. They have a nice selection of fish and if they don’t have it they will get ordered. Always prompt with helping even if your just there for a water refill for your tank. We stop in every now and then just to see what kinds of new fish they have. If your looking for an aquarium, be it fresh, salt or brackish water tank this is the place to go. I highly recommend The Fish Reef.

Truly some of the best service and advice I’ve gotten in the short amount of time I’ve been into the hobby. Large selection, good service, beautiful and healthy fish! Will definitely be coming again! Y’all should definitely check this place out, the combination of corals and practical needs, mixed with every fish I was looking for and even got to hand feed a mantis shrimp by hand. The porcupine puffer fish looked so cool

I visited this shop on 3-31-2021 and was quite impressed. The prices seemed very reasonable and the quality of the stock was far above many others I've been to. The guy that helped me (possibly the owner, I'm not good with names) seemed very knowledgeable and passionate about the businessand happily answered all my questions about the coral frags i was interested in. My only negative is that I didn't find this shop sooner due to the fact of living fairly far away. The drive is definitely worth it and plan on coming back many times in the future.

I just got back into aquariums and this is definitely the store to go to! The employees are awesome. The fish reef has everything you would need when it comes to supplies and customer service is amazing! They are nice, helpful and they provide knowledgeable information when it comes to any questions you may have! Seriously come here for all of your aquarium needs! They are definitely the best fish store I've experienced. They definitely just got a lifetime customer here!

4 star because hair algae on 75% & bubble algae on 25% of the coral frags. come on guys, it's so easy to brush those frag plugs with hydrogen peroxide! I would still buy corals from this place but I'd be scrutinizing the frag bigtime beforehand. But, beautiful store! (apple store of aquarium stores)

Recently visited the Fish Reef and had a wonderful experience: Customer service was exceptional. Josh was extremely helpful in making the right decision on a Tidal 55 filter to replace my AC/Flugal and media for my aquarium. Prices are the best in town and would highly recommend a visit. I love the atmosphere and layout of the store. I will definitely be coming back in near future.

Best fish shop in the Denver area, no question! I've been to many in the area and The Fish Reef goes above and beyond with their customer service. I'm still a beginner in the hobby and every single employee I've met has spent as much time as I needed answering questions/learning about my set up. Nate has helped me several times and his advice has helped my tank tremendously. Only spot I go to now for any of my tank needs.

Absolutely everything you could ask for in a fish store. Best customer service I have received by far compared to any other local pet stores and employees are very knowledgeable. Wonderful experience. This store is about 45 min away from us and we happened to visit because we were in the neighborhood on another mission. Glad we did. The tanks are pristine and all the fish appear to be super healthy. Staff was very engaged and supportive. I found a couple of nice additions for my tank and we will be defiantly coming back.

Really happy with my total experience. I had to have my 125 gal. tank moved for home repairs with pretty short notice. Despite the hectic holiday schedule, they were able to work it out and fit my tank movement in within a reasonable time frame. During the two movements and maintenance cycles that were performed the Fish Reef representatives were very unobtrusive and courteous. After the final movement the tank water was pristine and my fish didn't suffer any crazy effects or complications. The only thing that came up was my plants weren't to keen on the ultra-filtered new water. When I called to ask about this, the owner was kind enough to explain to me why my plants might react this way and gave me some instructions on what to do. Overall, a really lovely experience worth the extra dollars compared to others I've had move the tank. (My cat Poppy seems to think they did a great job too!)

Josh was absolutely wonderful. Very knowledgeable! Gave us the tools on how to properly condition our water. Along with wonderful feeding tips. Please go visit! The store tanks were CRYSTAL CLEAN and it’s obvious they take pride in selling top quality fish/products! Beyond a 5 star rating!

This place is just a joy to come to. So peaceful on the inside. Smells fresh. All the fish are just super healthy and vibrant. You can tell they really take care of all the living things in there. Really cool place definitely recommend.

This is my absolute favorite aquarium shop in Denver. They are clean, the staff is super friendly and they have a good selection of fresh and saltwater fish. They always have something interesting when I go in. The first time was jellyfish, next was an axolotl. Looking forward to what I'll see there next.

This place is amazing! The staff is incredible. Extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. They take such good care of the fish and life that live in their stores until finding their forever homes. As newbies starting our own aquarium we naively started at PETCO. After putting my daughter through an extremely traumatizing start to fish ownership, this group of amazing people picked up the pieces and got us back on track. We ultimately had to move and they went above and beyond ensuring our fish were going to be well taken care off. If my words don't say enough I hope my actions do. We live in Arvada and were happy to make the drive to Centennial (through rush hour traffic on I-25) just so we could work with them specifically. So in short, strongly, strongly recommend!

A very modern and “Apple” styled store with very friendly and welcoming staff.Honest opinions: I know they just started and are trying to make a name, but the salesman attitude doesn't make me want to buy anything. Nobody likes being pressured. However, I’m giving these guys a 5 star review knowing that they’re gonna do great in the future.

Today was the second time I stopped by The Fish Reef while driving around the city with my friends who have several large salt and fresh water tanks. While I don’t yet have any tanks of my own, the employees were incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and kind in answering both my basic questions and my friends’ more complicated questions. My friends are incredibly pleased with their purchase, and would highly recommend The Fish Reef!

I went in today with my husband and was well taken care of! Owner helped me to get my first tank and I cannot be more excited to start my saltwater tank! The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly! They have earned a lifetime customer and I will be back to get my fish and coral! I highly recommend if you want to support a small business and love fish that you check out this store!
